1. Agreement and license

By downloading or using FiberSnap, you agree to these Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. If these supplemental Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA regarding the license to the iOS application, Apple’s Standard EULA controls.

FiberSnap grants no rights beyond those provided under the applicable Apple license. You may use the app only for lawful, personal purposes and in accordance with Apple’s usage rules.

2. Nutrition and health information

FiberSnap is not medical advice. Food recognition, portion estimates, fiber values, targets, suggestions, and educational content may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not use FiberSnap to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Dietary needs vary. Increasing fiber may be inappropriate for some people or may cause discomfort. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have gastrointestinal symptoms, allergies, a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant, or are following a clinician-directed diet.

3. Subscriptions and trials

FiberSnap may require an active auto-renewable subscription or trial. Current products, localized prices, billing intervals, and trial eligibility are displayed by Apple before purchase and take precedence over promotional website copy.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm purchase.
  • A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to Apple’s applicable terms.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
  • Trial and introductory-offer eligibility is determined by Apple.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse FiberSnap or its services. Prohibited conduct includes attempting to bypass App Attest, subscription checks, or usage limits; sending automated or excessive requests; reverse engineering except where applicable law expressly permits it; probing service security; uploading unlawful or harmful material; or interfering with another person’s use of the service.

We may restrict access to online features when necessary to protect users, service integrity, third-party providers, or reasonable operating costs.

5. AI and third-party services

FiberSnap relies on services provided by Apple, RevenueCat, Google, Vercel, Upstash, USDA FoodData Central, and Open Food Facts. Their availability, content, and data practices are governed by their respective terms and policies. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using FiberSnap.

AI output can be wrong. Always review recognized foods and portion estimates before logging them. Nutrition values can vary by variety, preparation, brand, and serving.

6. Changes and availability

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law. Online services may be unavailable because of maintenance, network failures, provider outages, safety controls, or usage limits. We do not promise that every food, barcode, image, or nutrition label can be recognized.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FiberSnap and its services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. FiberSnap is not responsible for decisions made solely in reliance on estimated nutrition or AI-generated content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. The warranty, liability, governing-law, and Apple third-party-beneficiary provisions of Apple’s Standard EULA also apply.

8. Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms as the service changes. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions can be directed through the support contact shown on FiberSnap’s App Store product page once the app becomes available.
